Flash Fiction – A Level Art

I stood next to my work adjusting and fiddling with it; I had moved the lamp so many times making sure it was in the right position to shine the white light onto my painting. Looking for my parents in among the constant stream of bodies, I felt sick as I started to panic. What if they didn’t like it? What if my tutor and the examiner didn’t like it?  I felt the soft touch of reassurance on my shoulder as I caught sight of my parents

As my tutor glided towards them she whispered “they’ll love it”

Friday Fictioneers is a weekly 100 word challenge inspired by a photo prompt and hosted by the fabulous Rochelle
